Cats, a poem

Seems that this is poetry month, so in honour of the event, I offer up a small poem that I read and enjoyed. I own, (or am owned by) three cats, and I can tell you that this is a true poem..

Cats

Cats sleep
Anywhere,
Any table,
Any chair,
Top of piano,
Window-ledge,
In the middle,
On the edge,
Open drawer,
Empty shoe,
Anybody's
Lap will do,
Fitted in a
Cardboard box,
In the cupboard
With your frocks-
Anywhere!
Theydon't care!
Cats sleep
Anywhere.

The poem is from a book called "The Poetry of Cats", a collection of poems by everyone from T.S. Elliot to William Wordsworth. This one is my favourite, I think.
