Taxes that is. Finally got everything in order, and all the calculations show me getting money back. Hurray! Of course, I'm just going to hand it all over to VISA, but still. Money back from the government, always a good thing.
I am taking a bit of a holiday this week. I haven't had more than 4 days in a row off for ages, and haven't had a real holiday in almost 2 years. I'm feeling a bit burned out, so when I realized I didn't have any shifts booked until next week I decided to give myself a break and take the time out. I have been getting a bit on the cranky side lately, I admit.
It was absolutely pissing rain today, coming down in bucketfuls as I drove out to the farm. It's supposed to be nice for the rest of the week, so fingers crossed! All the cherry trees are blooming, so it feels like spring is here at last. Maybe over the weekend I'll start digging up the vegetable garden - I'm getting the urge to start mucking about in the dirt!
Other than that, it's been pretty uneventful around here.
