Stupid computer keeps freezing on me. I've cleared the chache, got rid of cookies etc., but it still does the program not responding thing just about everytime I try to log on. It takes two or three trys sometimes.....
*kicks computer*

I think it's just showing its age. In computer terms, this thing is a real dinosaur. I've had it since 2002, so I suppose it's no wonder it is a bit slow...molasses in January slow. I really would like a new one, with all the fancy bells and whistles, but I can't afford it just now. Seems like all my electronic stuff is showing its age: my TV is 15 years old, my radio-CD player is at least 6 years old (and the CD player is broken), my VCR is as old as the TV, and the DVD player is only a bit younger. I am naturally frugal, and keep things as long as they're still working. I'm not one to get new things just to have new things, although with the computer it would be very nice to be almost modern..LOL. Speaking of keeping things as long as they work, my blender is the one I bought when I got married, way back in 1969. It was one of the few things I got out of that marriage, along with the iron I bought when I first went to Toronto for my first job, in 1968. It still works just fine, although the dial is a bit worn. Luckily, I very seldom iron my clothes these days. Ahhhh, damn computer did it again. Hurray for saved posts. Maybe I should quit while I'm ahead.
*grumble*
