Hope your day was merry and bright, and that you're all relaxing in that wonderful state of post turkey coma..

We had a sort of white Christmas here. It started to snow out at the farm around one o'clock, and it was pretty thick, so I decided to come home a bit early. We're having our turkey dinner tomorrow, because today was just too busy. Kelly had the day off, so we had stalls to do. I stayed out there last night to keep the home fires burning so Jack and Sue could spend the evening with his mother. I had a quiet evening, fed the horses and tucked them all in for the night, and then watched "A Christmas Carol" on TV. The original movie with Alastair Sim. Woke up this morning, got up and fed the horses, had breakfast and then started cleaning the stalls. Sue and Jack got home around 10, so we just did a quick pick out of the stalls, then went in and had tea and opened our presents. We were going to have an early dinner, I made a scallop and vegetable casserole last night so we wouldn't have to cook today, but when the snow started I figured I'd best get on home. I took my share of the casserole and headed out into the snow. It wasn't much of a storm, turned to slush then rain by the time I got to Vancouver. Still, it was nice to get home to my warm apartment and my cats.

I've spent the late afternoon and evening watching a Big Bang Theory marathon, and then the Doctor Who Christmas special...Yay! new Who. Really loved it.
Made my special stuffing to go with the turkey tomorrow (by request; Jack loves my classic bread, celery and onion stuffing). All in all, a very nice Christmas Day.

I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday!
