Big cat, Little cat.

As you can see, there is a bit of a size difference between my two kitties! Over in this corner meet Sam, weighing in at 11.5 kilograms (25 pounds to you non metric types). And in this corner meet Annie, the 4.5 kilogram (11 pounds) boss of the household, now that Chloe is gone. I had to take them both to the Vet today for their checkups; I have a big wire cage for Sam and he was non too pleased to find himself stuffed into it! I had to borrow another carrier from the Vet for Annie, because there sure wasn't any room for her with Sam.

They were both very good at the Vet's. Just a bit frightened, especially Sam, who is the biggest of wusses. I'm glad to say they are in good health, although Sam needs to lose a bit of weight. I got them to cut his nails while they were at it, because I can't wrestle him down and cut his nails at the same time. I was most pleased that their teeth are in excellent condition; I have been trying to get them to let me brush their teeth from time to time; they love the toothpaste, but not so much the tooth brush. (Brushing a cat's teeth definitely is a challenge, especially if the cat isn't pleased about it, LOL)

I wrote a few Christmas cards, did some grocery shopping and put up my little Christmas tree. It looks so pretty on the table with all the lights on it. I hope the cats don't notice it...

I'm tempted to make some Christmas cookies, but I'm about run out of zip. Think I'll just call it a day, make some tea and relax.
