gotta be careful about yelling treats!..my cat Sam comes running when he hears that word. LOL.
Anyhoo, today was treat day for me. I haven't bought myself any new clothes for so long; haven't spent much money on anything other than essentials this past several months. After we finished the work this afternoon, Sue and I went into Aldergrove to do a little shopping. Mark's Workwarehouse was having a sale on jeans, and we both needed new ones. It was fun to have some time to poke around the store and check things out. I found a pair of nice dark wash jeans that fit well, for $20. A steal at that price, Yay!
Then we went to the White Spot and had burgers, fries and for dessert, a strawberry milkshake. The burger was delicious, the fries hot and nummy (and I ate my coleslaw, so I had my veggies) and the milkshake was just like the ones I used to have in the old cafe back home when I was a teenager, all thick with ice cream and fresh berries. Two treats in one afternoon.
A good day.
