midnightsjaneA little note at the bottom of my hotmail page said your friends haven't done anything new recently. Really? What's up with you guys, eh?
Bet that it's not true. Tell me hotmail lies like a rug, and you've all been doing amazing and wonderful new things this week while I've been hiding off line.
I have to admit I've not been up to anything really exciting, just keeping on with all the things I have to do to keep my life in order..working, sleeping, that sort of thing. I was a bit under the weather yesterday, so I stayed home and cooked and baked and read. Made a good hearty lentil and split pea soup, a comforting mac and cheese, and baked peanut butter cookies. Very domestic of me.
Went out to the farm this morning early, because we had the stalls to do. I was very pleased with myself, getting on the road nice and early, and was congratulating myself on it, when all of a sudden the traffic came to a complete halt. Curses! It took me 45 minutes to go about 10 km. and as a result I wasn't as early as I wanted to be, but I got there. We got Teddy and Buddy outside, and then got to work. I did 9 stalls, moved the girls around so they all got to have a good run in the arena, cleaned paddocks and then hit the wall. I was totally wiped by the end of the day. I was so happy to get home and collapse on the couch.
I have this week's episodes of Once Upon a Time and Downton Abbey to watch tonight, if I can manage to stay awake long enough.
