midnightsjaneOr, how to knock off a few gray cells without even trying..
I was cleaning Midnight's stall today(with him in it)and I forgot that I had the hotwire up. (FYI, we had to put electric wire across the window of his stall so he wouldn't eat the plastic mesh, as he has done before.) I was pulling the wheelbarrow out of the door, didn't duck, and ZAP! the wire touched my head. I just about fell on the floor. My bells certainly got rung.
It's been a good week; busy, but good. Good things: Stripey kitty got herself lost, and then found again. Buddy and Teddy got gelded, and all went smoothly. Kyra had a big bellyache, but got better without us having to call the Vet. I got my income tax refund, and for the first time in ages have a little extra cash..I celebrated by going out and buying a new book.
And oh, yeah..my friend Jack sold his house!

Date: 2012-06-02 06:02 pm (UTC)I'm doing my best to set up the fencing around the Red Barn (which is undergoing a complete and total renovation) so that there is a metal panel on one side and a hot wire on the other side. Hopefully that will keep the posts and H braces safer.
