The problem with public transportation..
Jun. 12th, 2012 09:16 pmWould be the public one has to share the transportation with. Since I've started taking the bus to work, I have to admit my tolerence for sharing space with strangers is tested regularly. Sometimes the trip can be amusing, sometimes not so much. After a long day at work, I mostly want to sit quietly and stay in my little bubble, but occasionally someone is just loud enough and obnoxious enough to make me want to make snide comments back..even when they're not actually talking to me. This morning there was a woman sitting just behind me who really got on my nerves for some reason. Perhaps it was because she kept telling people where to sit so they could avoid the poor little moth that had come aboard the bus. She actually grabbed one girl by the arm and pulled her from the seat she was about to take and made her sit beside me, because "there's a moth, and it's going to bite you!" Really? Didn't know moths had teeth.
Guess I'm just grumpy after a twelve hour shift.
It's been a weird kind of week. I worked a day, then a night, then had a day off, then worked last night, and tomorrow I work a day shift. My poor body doesn't know whether to be awake or asleep! I'm not sure why I scheduled things like that...my bad, and I'm paying the price.
I went and got my hair cut today. It's been almost 8 months since my last hair cut, and my poor hairstylist almost had a coronary when she saw the state of my hair. There's something about shoving hair into a pony tail that just cries out to a hairdresser, this person needs help!.....
Anyway, it looks ever so much better now. A good haircut is one of the best ways to lift the spirits.
Not much else happening here. Life goes on, as it does.

Worst thing that ever happened to me on a bus? The time some drunk sat in the seat behind me and peed on the back of my seat! Ewwww.
