I got to ride in an ambulance today. The paramedics asked if they should go lights and sirens..which would have been kinda neat, but probably would have scared my patient half to death. I had to transfer him from our ICU to the one in our sister hospital across the city (it's a lower key ICU, and we often send patients who still need an ICU, but not the high power of ours.)
It was a nice break from work, we got to travel a bit, and then the RT and I got to take a taxi back to the hospital.

It was such a gorgeous day, I really enjoyed the trip.
