Holy waterwings, Batman!

midnightsjaneThat was some storm last night. The rain pounded down, thunder rolled, lightening flashed, and the tarp covering the patio came close to turning into a flying object. It actually made me feel a little nervous.
When I woke up this morning and opened my door, my little castle was surrounded by a moat. There was at least an inch of water covering the entire patio area. I wished I'd brought my rubber boots home from the farm, and maybe a set of waterwings. LOL.
By the time I got home tonight the patio was dry. Hopefully they've got the drains set up so they actually drain. Good thing I know how to swim!
