Wow, it's over already?

My sister leaves tomorrow morning after a short visit, only 3 days. Actually, we figure that that is probably the perfect amount of time for a visit; enough to get caught up and do a few interesting things, not enough to start getting annoyed with each other. LOL.

I took her out to the farm yesterday to see Sue and the horses. In the afternoon the three of us went to Fort Langley and played tourists, checking out the shops before having dinner at the local Pub. It was fun. Today Sandy and I went down to the Granville Island Market, had some totally scrumptious seafood chowder at a restaurant there, bought some goodies for dessert, and then went for a long walk on the beach out by Spanish Banks. The weather was a little rainy, but nice enough. I cooked supper for us, and we went for a walk around the neighbourhood before settling down for an evening of mindless TV watching.

She leaves early tomorrow morning, and the cats will have the run of the house again; they are totally bummed that they are banned from the bedroom at night. Sandy doesn't appreciate the joy of cats cuddling up while she sleeps, lol. Must say I will be pleased to have my bed back, too..the sofa bed is okay, but not nearly as comfy.

It's been fun to have her here, short as her visit was. Now it's back to life as usual.
